
Are you looking for a space to practice your craft or a studio to host your workshops or events? The Nature of Movement is committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for your practice, classes, events, and gatherings. This warm and open studio is ideal for small classes, community events (seats up to 25), and workshops. In addition, private rooms are available for therapeutic sessions, including massage, counselling, movement education, or other related practices.
In changing times, this space offers a foundation dedicated to the growth of a resilient community. The studio is located in downtown Victoria with access to free parking. Included in the studio rental is the use of chairs, bolsters, blankets, yoga props, and other basic necessities for your event or classes. The space includes a sink, a small folding table, and tea supplies for your use.
The Nature of Movement is currently looking for practitioners and therapeutic professionals who are interested in contributing to this eclectic initiative. The space is also available for rental by the hour.









Amanda Lynn Halldorson, founder of The Nature of Movement, is a Guild-certified Feldenkrais practitioner who offers classes, workshops, and private sessions based on the Feldenkrais Method® of Somatic Education. She is committed to creating a learning environment for those seeking to expand sensory awareness, improve mobility, and enhance the quality of everyday life. Amanda Lynn also hosts storytelling events on occasion at the studio. Kim O’Leary is a Professional Art Therapist, a Registered Social Worker, a Certified Hakomi Therapist, and a Practioner of Expressive Arts Therapy. Kim maintains her private practice at The Nature of Movement. She holds a master’s degree in Psychotherapy and Spirituality with a specialization in Art Therapy. Kim assists clients to connect with inner resources while also exploring unconscious habitual patterns that tend to shape the way we organize and experience life. Elyse Portal is a certified Plant Spirit Medicine (PSM) Practitioner with the Plant Spirit Medicine Seminary. She offers PSM sessions at The Nature of Movement.
